“I have never had plastic surgery, and there are many pop singers who have,” Gaga stated at the time. The “Born This Way” singer also took a strong stand against the culture of promoting insecurity through cosmetic enhancements, calling it “Infinitely more harmful than an artistic expression related to body modification.”
Gaga’s portrayal of Harley in “Joker: Folie à Deux” is set to bring a new depth to the iconic character. The actress recently sat down with Jimmy Kimmel to discuss her dual projects: the upcoming movie and her newly released album, “Harlequin,” which ties in with her role.

Gaga revealed that the song “Happy Mistake” in the album was directly inspired by her character and serves as a deeply personal reflection on her life as a performer, noting that it addresses themes of dark times and the fleeting nature of happiness.
“It was just meant to be a really personal song about how sometimes we can go through dark times and feel like happiness is kind of an accident when it happens,” she said.
