Ethan Suplee shared the incredible body transformation he’s made since starring in My Name Is Earl.

The 48-year-old played Earl’s younger brother Randy Hickey in the NBC sitcom from 2005 to 2009. But the character was known for being on the bigger side and Suplee has totally left this image behind.

He regularly shares updates on his health and fitness journey on social media and last month he shared an impressive series of photos and videos that show just how far he’s come.

Fans were blown away as they praised the celeb for his commitment and called him an ‘inspiration’. Suplee wrote on Instagram: “The trap was in doing what other people told me to do. The solution was in finding my own path.

“There is glorious nuance out there in the world, all of it requires context. The absolutes that snake oil salesmen will push on you is nothing more than marketing. The entire universe exists within you, find your path.”

The various clips show him in some of his old roles before the present day, where he’s lifting weights in the gym, doing ice baths and even kickboxing in a ring.

In the comments, people wrote: “Such an inspiration for many people,” as another wrote: “You f**king RULE buddy. Still constantly inspired by you my man.”

One also wrote: “Probably one of my favourite glow ups. Bro was always a good dude and actor so this makes me happy that he got himself healthy.”

Others even said: “The greatest transformation Hollywood has ever seen and no one can tell me otherwise.”

Suplee kicked off his fitness journey nearly two decades ago when he tipped over 250kg.

He explained on his podcast how he had to use a freight scale to weigh himself as he was too heavy for the scales at his doctor’s office.

And speaking to PEOPLE, he said he realised he had to alter his life when he started dating his now-wife as he struggled to keep up with her.

“I became, for the first time in my life, kind of interested in the future and having experiences with her,” he said.

“Like spending a day walking around a museum or going on a trip or hiking that I just wasn’t physically able to do.”

“I cannot say that actually losing weight has made me happier. I don’t think that’s true,” he added.

“I just think that achieving something I set out to achieve has given me this volume of happiness that is pretty great.”Featured Image Credit: Amigos de Garcia Productions/NBC/ethansuplee via Instagram
