Zoe, a busy nurse, relied on her mother-in-law, Denise, to watch her son,
Leo, during her late shifts. But recently, Leo began dreading his grandmother’s visits,
clinging to Zoe and hiding when Denise arrived. When he finally revealed the cause,
Zoe was shocked—Denise had been using a cotton swab to collect his saliva, chasing him
around to test his DNA. Her motive? Denise doubted Leo’s paternity because of his blonde hair.
Enraged, Zoe confronted Denise, who admitted her suspicions. Andrew, Zoe’s husband,
suggested a DNA test to settle things, but Zoe added her own condition:
Andrew should test his DNA, too. When results arrived, Leo’s parentage was confirmed,
but a twist surfaced—Andrew wasn’t his father’s biological son.
The revelation left Andrew reeling, and he distanced himself from Denise, who confessed
to an affair long ago. With her insecurities exposed, Denise lost her grip on
their family, while Zoe and Andrew chose to move forward, leaving the past behind.
