Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz – A Private Love Story
In 2011, Daniel and Rachel surprised the world when they tied the knot in a secret ceremony in New York. The wedding was an intimate affair, attended by only four guests: Daniel’s daughter, Ella, Rachel’s son, Henry, and two close friends.
The couple, who had known each other for years before their romance blossomed, kept their courtship under wraps, reflecting their shared desire for privacy in their personal lives.

Daniel and Rachel have since remained notoriously private about their relationship, rarely speaking about each other in interviews. Rachel, in particular, has been careful when discussing her marriage.

When asked if being married had changed her, she hesitated, admitting, “I mean, I wear a ring all the time. I wear my ring with pride. I’m taken.” However, the actress revealed that she had never seen herself as someone who would walk down the aisle.

Then, at the age of 48, she became pregnant with the couple’s first child together. The actress stated, “Daniel and I are so happy. We’re going to have a little human. We can’t wait to meet him or her. It’s all such a mystery.”

In 2018, Rachel gave birth to their daughter, later revealing during an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” that their baby girl resembled Daniel.
Reflecting on motherhood at an older age, Rachel described how special it felt to welcome a new life. She noted that having a child later in life felt deeper and more meaningful compared to when she was younger.

A Blended Family and Daniel Craig’s Unconventional Inheritance Plan
Daniel and Rachel’s blended family includes the actor’s daughter, Ella Loudon, from his previous marriage to actress Fiona Loudon. Like her parents, Ella pursued a career in acting, gaining attention for her roles in films such as “The Vizitant,” “Arab,” and “The Things We Left Unsaid.”

Ella’s career in film seemed almost written in the stars as the daughter of two actors. In 2022, she took to Instagram to celebrate her mother’s birthday and called her “the greatest artist of all” in a heartfelt post.

Ella further reflected on the joy of being raised by her mom, typing, “My mama was born on this day, and thank goodness for that. She’s the greatest artist of all, and [I] am so thankful I got to be raised by such a wonderful bean.”

Ella initially set her sights on acting by enrolling at NYU, with alumni such as Lady Gaga, Alec Baldwin, and Kristen Bell. However, her time there was brief, as she left after a year. In an interview, Ella candidly discussed her struggles with depression, admitting that her mental state was not conducive to continuing her studies at the time.

She also opened up about her challenges with dyslexia, noting, “It’s amazing how the brain can naturally compartmentalize, but you’re also talking to someone who really struggles with learning lines. There are some people who can just get it. It’s not an excuse, but it’s something I struggle with.”

Her striking looks have also made waves on social media, where one social media user said she was “the prettiest girl I’ve seen for a while.” “So pretty,” someone else commented. However, despite their family’s overall private nature, in 2020, Daniel made headlines following his unconventional views on inheritance. Despite his immense success and wealth, the actor made it clear that he did not plan to leave his fortune to his children.
The Hollywood star, who earned a reported $25 million for his role in “No Time To Die” and $100 million for the “Knives Out” sequels, spoke candidly in an interview about his views on inheritance.

“Isn’t there an old adage that if you die a rich person, you’ve failed?” Daniel said, referencing how industrialist Andrew Carnegie gave away most of his fortune.
The actor stated that he found the idea of leaving massive sums of money to heirs distasteful, sharing, “I don’t want to leave great sums to the next generation.” In 2021, he doubled down on his remarks, adding, “My philosophy is get rid of it or give it away before you go.”
