Trump’s first couple of months in office have already been pretty intense and the President has revealed the latest issue he is going to be prioritizing for the welfare of humanity.

Speaking to Fox News on Sunday (March 9) President Trump revealed that he doesn’t think climate change should be prioritized as “the biggest existential threat”.
He revealed that he is actually more concerned about “the level of destruction” that nuclear weapons could cause, which would be “beyond anything you can imagine”.
The 78-year-old explained: “We spend a lot of money of nuclear weapons – the level of destruction is beyond anything you can imagine.
“It’s just bad that you have to spend all this money on something that if it’s used, it’s probably the end of the world.”

He added that the cause is just one of the many issues he disagreed with his predecessor, Joe Biden, on, who believed that global warming was a more pressing issue.
“The greatest [threat] is sitting on shelves in various countries called ‘nuclear weapons’ that are big monsters that can blow your heads off for miles and miles and miles,” he explained.

It comes after Trump revealed that he’d sent a letter to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in order to reach a deal with them over the development of nuclear weapons.
“I’ve written them a letter saying, ‘I hope you’re going to negotiate because if we have to go in militarily, it’s going to be a terrible thing,'” Trump revealed.
“I would rather negotiate a deal. I’m not sure that everybody agrees with me, but we can make a deal that would be just as good as if you won militarily.
“But the time is happening now. The time is coming up. Something’s going to happen one way or the other.

“I hope you’re going to negotiate because it’s going to be a lot better for Iran and I think they want to get that letter.”
Explaining the consequences, he added: “The other alternative is we have to do something because you can’t let them have a nuclear weapon.”

The former and now 47th president emphasized that his preference is diplomacy over military action, but he made it clear that Iran has two choices.

“There are two ways Iran can be handled: militarily, or you make a deal,” he stated. “I would prefer to make a deal because I’m not looking to hurt Iran. They’re great people.”
Just last month, Trump also said that he is planning to talk to Russia and China about de-escalating their nuclear weapons programme.
He explained: “There’s no reason for us to be building brand new nuclear weapons. We already have so many.
“You could destroy the world 50 times over, 100 times over. And here we are building new nuclear weapons, and they’re building nuclear weapons.
