Jaw-dropping amount Donald Trump’s 13 rounds of golf have reportedly cost US taxpayers this year

President Donald Trump’s frequent golf outings since returning to office have reportedly cost U.S. taxpayers over $18 million. In his first 48 days back in the White House, he played golf 13 times—10 rounds at Trump International West Palm Beach and three at Trump Doral.

These expenses encompass various costs, including Air Force One travel, security measures like law enforcement patrols, and the use of explosive-sniffing dogs. A 2019 Government Accountability Office report estimated that each of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago visits during his first term averaged $13.6 million, with some funds benefiting his businesses.

Critics argue that such expenditures divert attention from presidential duties and contribute to personal enrichment. Despite expectations of federal reimbursements, local communities bear immediate costs and inconveniences during these visits.
