I’m happy to propose one! Here are three different theme/backstory ideas to choose from (or mix and match):
1. Post-Apocalyptic Tragedy (Theme: Survival & Loss)
In a crumbled city after an unexplained global disaster, a rescue team finds a child-sized robot—a caretaker android—upside down in the rubble. They realize she was shielding a human child from the collapse, long after her systems were supposed to fail. When they check her, she had… recorded lullabies still playing in a corrupted loop.
Tone: Poignant, sci-fi, emotional.
2. Domestic Abuse Uncovered (Theme: Injustice & Resilience)
A social worker visits a home where reports of neglect had gone unanswered. In the attic, she finds a girl upside down—trapped and hidden under loose floorboards. When they checked her, she had bruises, drawings, and a journal with names.
Tone: Realistic, heartbreaking, hopeful toward justice.
3. Haunting Folklore (Theme: Superstition & Mystery)
In a remote village, a child is found upside down in a forest clearing, as if placed deliberately. Elders whisper of the “Witch’s Mark”—a spirit that turns victims as a curse. When they checked her, she had markings no one could explain—drawn in salt and blood.
