An Idaho grandmother captured a photo of her three-year-old granddaughter just moments before she was tragically killed.
In 2022, Samantha Jensen’s mother, Jamie, was watching over young Scarlett and her two-year-old brother Henry when the heartbreaking event unfolded.
Now, two years later, Samantha has found the strength to share the last photo of her children playing together before Scarlett’s tragic passing.
In a TikTok post, Samantha wrote: “My mom took this picture at 4:47PM and my daughter’s time of death was 4:52. My mom didn’t know she was capturing the last moments of her life.”
She added: “I looked at the timestamp and realized it was only five minutes before her declared time of death, so it must have been taken seconds before the person hit them. This one is really hard for me to look at, just knowing what comes next breaks my heart.”
Jamie had just returned from taking the kids for ice cream when Scarlett asked to get out of her stroller to pick flowers.
“That’s when my mom took the last picture I have of her alive.”
As Scarlett was picking yellow and purple flowers in their private driveway, a Chevy Tahoe sped down the dirt road, striking her, her brother, and their grandmother.
Before the collision, Jamie shouted at the driver to stop and tried to push her grandchildren out of harm’s way.
But the driver was moving “too fast.” “Scarlett was killed almost instantly and my mom and Henry were critically injured,” Samantha told People.
It wasn’t until weeks later that the grief-stricken mother discovered her mom had taken a photo of Scarlett’s final moments.
“My mom lost her phone when they were hit, and it took us a while to find it, so when we finally did, I was going through the pictures and found that one,” Samantha shared.
Initially, looking at the picture was “excruciating” for Samantha.
“It was extremely painful for me to look at in the beginning. How do you come to terms with the existence of a ‘last picture’ of your child?”
But two years on, she has come to find comfort in the peaceful scene the photo captures, sharing it on TikTok, where it received heartfelt messages from strangers.
Samantha expressed: “I am so incredibly thankful to have that photo. It captures the peaceful feeling of her last moments, the beauty she was surrounded by when she took her last breaths.
“I will forever picture her happy and carefree, picking flowers with her best friend and Meemaw.”
After the accident, Henry had to be airlifted to a children’s hospital where doctors found “a fractured spine, six broken ribs, a broken jaw, a broken collarbone, a liver laceration and several other injuries.”
The two-year-old “spent a week in the PICU before he was stable enough to come home, and he had a full body brace on for 10 weeks,” Samantha recounted.
Eventually, both Henry and his grandmother recovered from their physical injuries.
But the emotional wounds remain deep for the grieving family. Scarlett, born on New Year’s Day 2019, was “the long-awaited first child” of Samantha and her husband. Her grandfather, Jim Patton, shared with KHQ that she was “so full of life, so full of love…such a smart little girl.”
“A piece of my soul is gone,” he added.
Samantha remembered her daughter as “the silliest, sweetest little girl.”
“She loved horses, unicorns, being a big sister, and the movies Frozen and Spirit.
“The absolute joy of her life were her siblings. She loved helping take care of baby Molly and playing with her best friend Henry.”
Without Scarlett’s joyful presence, “the house feels so quiet and empty without her.”
The family continues to grapple with the actions of the driver. After fleeing the scene on foot, the driver was later apprehended a few miles away.
“How do you do that? How do you walk away from suffering?” Patton questioned. Samantha noted that the driver is now serving a ten-year prison sentence, with two years credited for time served during the legal process.
Samantha’s grief can be overwhelming at times. “Some days, it feels like I am drowning, and some days I am able to tread water.”
She chose to share her experience on social media, hoping to show others “that it is okay to grieve loudly.”
“You don’t have to do it in silence. Talk about your people, scream their names loud and proud, and never stop sharing their stories.”

Bride is praised for kicking her sister out of her wedding after she turned up in ‘disrespectful’ dress

Taking to Reddit’s infamous ‘Am I The A**hole?’ thread, a 27-year-old woman decided to ask social media users whether she was the one to blame for the fact that she kicked her sister out of her special event because of the dress she chose to turn up in.
“…It was supposed to be the happiest day of my life,” she said, referring to her wedding day. “My sister (31F), who I have a complicated relationship with, decided to test me in the worst way possible.”
She went on to state that she’s never been “close” as her older sibling has “always tried to one-up [her] even during family events.”

Regardless, she thought it would be different this time at her wedding.
“Months ago, when I sent out the dress code, I made it very clear: no one wears white but me. It wasn’t negotiable. My sister gave me attitude about it, saying I was being ‘insecure’ and that ‘no one cares about tradition anymore.’ I told her that whether or not she agreed, she needed to respect it,” she continued.
That’s some solid boundaries to lay – we love.
But of course, her sister just did not want to listen.
“The morning of the wedding, she showed up wearing a floor-length, lace white dress. It was practically a bridal gown. My heart dropped, and I straight-up asked her what the hell she was thinking. She said, ‘It’s not that white, and besides, no one will care,'” the newlywed wrote.

“I told her that if she didn’t change, she wasn’t welcome. She threw a tantrum about how I was ruining her day and stormed off, telling everyone I was being ‘bridezilla.’ Some family members told me to let it slide because ‘she’s just like that,’ but I was done,” she noted before adding that her sister now blames her for ruining their relationship over a dress.
“My husband agrees with me, but some family is still p**sed. So AITA?” she asked.
Thankfully, hundreds of Reddit users agreed with the bride’s decision including this person who stated: “NTA. Your sister disrespected your clear dress instructions and showed up in a white gown almost identical to a wedding dress. She was trying to steal the spotlight at your wedding. You were right to uphold your boundaries and not let her ruin your day. Ignore the family members who say you should’ve just let it slide. This was your special day, and she didn’t care.”
“She threw a tantrum about how I was ruining her day… Excuse me? You were ruining her day?? WTAF??? NTA, and I would go low/no contact with everyone who said you were at fault here. Again, WTAF???” another added.
A third also chimed in writing: “Your sister sounds like a total drama queen. If she can’t respect a simple dress code, then she doesn’t deserve to be at your wedding. You did the right thing by kicking her out. It’s your day, and you get to decide the rules.”

Man shares chilling account of what he saw and heard as he spent days in a coma
By James Kay

A man has opened up about his experiences of what he saw and heard when he was in a coma.
There are a few things to fear in this world, and being in a coma is arguably one of the scariest things.
If it was one long sleep and you have no recollection of it, then it wouldn’t be so bad.

But these stories of people being mentally aware of what was going on around them send a shiver down my spine.
With that being said, let’s take a look at one of these stories.
Travis Shreeve, an accountant who had gained weight due to a sedentary lifestyle during the pandemic, saw his health rapidly decline after contracting Covid-19.
This ultimately led to his hospitalization and a life-changing experience, per the International Association for Near-Death Studies.
Travis was at home preparing to leave for a hospital appointment when he began experiencing severe breathing difficulties.
As his condition worsened, he told his wife to call an ambulance before collapsing in their hallway.
Recalling the events leading up to his hospitalization, Travis mentioned remembering “little bits” of the journey to the hospital.
Soon after, he fell into a coma.

During his time in the coma, Travis revealed that he was far more conscious than he had expected. “I was seeing the nurses come in, I was very aware of them,” he said.
“They were coming in, and they wouldn’t talk to me, they were just ignoring me and I felt that something was dangerously wrong.”
Speaking on the Prioritize Your Life podcast with Wesly Lapioli, Travis described his 10-day coma as feeling like “three months.”
“It was the most terrifying thing of my life times 10. I was fighting to breathe,” he explained. “I fought, and I fought, and I fought to breathe, and there was a point where I felt such exhaustion that I felt like this is my last breath.”
But as his body reached its limit, Travis found himself in a place he described as completely different from Earth.
“It was beautiful, it was white, it was clean,” he said. “The thing that told me that this was not Earth was that it was so clean, everything was just flawlessly clean.”
This surreal location allowed him to completely forget the crisis he was facing in real life.
During the podcast, Travis shared more about his experience, including an interaction with two mysterious individuals.
“I knew there were two people, I don’t know why I knew there was a second person because I didn’t see a shadow, I didn’t hear anything, I just knew there were two,” he said.
One of these figures was a woman Travis felt a deep connection with. She reassured him, telling him that “everything [was] going to be okay.”
According to Travis, the woman communicated in a way that felt like “downloaded information,” making him believe she had intervened on his behalf.
“She somehow intervened on my behalf,” he said, adding that while he wasn’t sure if she influenced a doctor’s decision or made a plea to a higher power, he was certain she played a role in his survival.
After this profound experience, Travis awoke back in the hospital but felt confident that the woman had “found a way out” for him.
“One last time, I was shown an image. It’s like I wasn’t allowed to fully remember the image, but there was my family and there were a couple other individuals,” he recalled.
“She spoke to me one more time. This was my only moment of peace in the hospital, and she said, ‘Everything is going to be okay, we will be whole again,’ and I felt something special about that.”
Despite Travis’s experience being mainly positive, it still terrifies me.

Bachelorette party is left terrified after spotting creepy detail in photos taken seconds apart
By Asiya Ali

A group of friends at a Bachelorette party were left petrified after spotting a haunting detail in a celebratory picture.
A bride-to-be decided to celebrate her upcoming wedding with her loved ones on a remote estate in Scotland.
The women gathered in front of Loch Eck, Argyll to document their memories by taking a few pictures. But little did they know the snap would give them the shock of their lives…

According to The Mirror, the first picture revealed the women posing with cutouts of the happy couple’s faces.
However, the second image, which was taken moments after the first, showed them holding their arms in the air while clutching the same masks.
Once the friends took a closer look at the photograph, they spotted a small boy crouching behind a wooden stump that hadn’t been in the image taken seconds before.
It was reported that the friends researched the property’s past after noticing the dark-haired photobomber and uncovered a tragic tale of a child who reportedly drowned in a nearby lake after sleepwalking into it.https://embed.reddit.com/r/Ghosts/comments/6vs0tp/girls_heard_this_scottish_lake_was_haunted_by_a/?embed=true&ref_source=embed&ref=share&utm_medium=widgets&utm_source=embedv2&utm_term=23&utm_name=post_embed&embed_host_url=https%3A%2F%2Fportal.junglecreations.com%2Fcms%2Fposts%2F047c5082-57ef-456a-974c-12dcd1f19166&height=709&width=640
The haunting incident seems to echo the story of “The Blue Boy,” a television film broadcast on the BBC in 1994.
The story is about a four-year-old who drowned in Loch Eck. The film starred Oscar winner Emma Thompson and was allegedly shot at the same location where the photo was taken.
Screenwriter Paul Murton spoke about the first time he came across the unnerving story to The Herald in 1994: “I was talking to the hotelier about it and he mentioned The Blue Boy.”

“This, he said, was a young child who had been on holiday with his parents in the hotel and he had been sleepwalking during the night.
“He had strayed outside, fallen into the loch, and drowned. When they found his body it was blue with the cold,” he continued.
“Hotel staff had noticed that things like cutlery and plates were often out of place for no apparent reason – perhaps more sinister than that was the fact that they sometimes found wet footprints upstairs in the corridor,” Murton added.

Some Reddit users were not convinced that the picture was real.
“So why should we believe that there wasn’t a living, breathing, little boy there?” one user questioned. “Kinda looks photoshopped in,” a second added.

Plus size woman with bodybuilder husband reveals the most hurtful comments she’s received online
By Nasima Khatun

A plus-sized woman with a bodybuilder husband has revealed some of the most hurtful comments she’s received from online trolls.
Alicia McCarvell is an influencer who shares relatable lifestyle content on social media with her husband Scott.
But while she’s garnered millions of fans across her platforms thanks to her bubbly personality and humorous content, she’s also got a club of haters who seem to like to put her down just because she has a different body type than her partner.
Taking to Instagram, she decided to post an image with screenshots of hate comments she’s received over the years – and some of these remarks are absolutely appalling.
“Girl, he’s cheating on you,” read one comment, while another stated: “He’s too out of your league.”
“You gotta have money or blackmailing him [with] something,” a third comment read.
There were at least 10 more vile comments all talking about how she does not deserve her husband just because she’s plus-sized.
“When people say things like ‘we get it, you’re fat and you have a fit husband’ I’m here to remind them, people don’t get it – in fact they barely tolerate it,” she wrote in a caption alongside the images. “These are the things that society thinks about fat people who are in relationships with partners who are smaller or fitter than them.”
She described it as a “cruel reality” before continuing: “This is the stigma Scott and I fight to break every. single. day. Simply by existing online. Someone commented ‘how are you and your husband so different’ on a photo of him and I. ‘So different’ simply because our bodies are different.”
The star went on to send an apology to other people who may have undergone a similar experience.
“This is an apology to anyone who receives these comments, who feels like their love isn’t valid, who thinks they aren’t worthy of their partner – I want to set the record straight – our relationship isn’t the problem, society is,” Alicia stated.
“You are worthy, your love is valid, and society can pound sand, while you pound each other,” she hilariously concluded.Have a look at the full post below:
Fans couldn’t help but leave kind comments under the post.
“Inspirational, fun, loving, beautiful couple. Most people’s goals is to have a relationship like this. Blessed,” wrote one person while another added: “I am in awe. You are the most beautiful couple. You are so sweet and cheerful. I wish you all the best.”
And this Instagrammer also chimed in stating: “I love you both so much you make me believe in love.”
A year after this post was published, the pair are unbothered and continue to shower the internet with funny videos and adorable moments from their relationship.
And to those haters, maybe if you weren’t so judgmental, you’d also be in a healthy, loving, and happy relationship, but until then, type away.

Man with ‘two-inch penis’ reveals how his wife responded to his manhood

A man who has a “two-inch penis” has opened up about his struggles, including how his wife first responded.
There are some things in life that a man has very little power over but stresses about all the same.

One of which is his hairline – which causes a great deal of stress – and the other is the size of his manhood.
While most people go through life generally fitting in the average range, some men, unfortunately, fall a bit short of the usual numbers.
One man has taken to Reddit to explain his dilemma of having a penis that measured just two inches.
Cited by the Daily Mail, the man posted in the popular “Ask Me Anything” thread, writing: “I have a two-inch penis. Ask me anything.”
During the conversation, he clarified that his measurement referred to his size when erect.
When asked about his most uncomfortable experience, he recalled an encounter with a woman he met at a bar.
“I met this smoking hot girl at a bar once and she wanted to just do it right there in the bathroom,” he shared. “Well being drunk and what not, I was like ‘OK let’s go’.”
The situation quickly became awkward.

“We got down to it, kissing, touching and everything, and when it came time for her to bl*w me, I couldn’t get hard,” he continued. “Not that being hard would have been impressive, but at least it would have grown lol.”
The encounter ended abruptly. “She ran out and told all her friends and I could hear it from the bathroom. Basically walking out of that door hanging my head was the most embarrassing thing ever,” he recalled.
Despite such difficult moments, the man revealed that he is now happily married and his wife has never made an issue of his size.
“I’d say the best experience honestly was with my wife,” he said. “How she didn’t even care, didn’t even mention it, didn’t even worry about it. I had to be the one to say something, she was so understanding and so sweet about it all.”

Users on Reddit were curious about how he managed to maintain his confidence despite societal pressures.
“At the end of every day, what matters to you?” he wrote in response. “Your family, your kids, your wife, your health, correct? Not the size of the thing you urinate from.”
He offered advice to others struggling with similar insecurities: “If anyone reading this struggles with this insecurity, understand that the heart is what matters. Looks fade, money comes and goes, life goes on. Be happy with who you are. This is your life, you live it, you lead it, you control it.”
